In 2015, several European countries have taken important steps to improve their gender recognition procedures.  

ILGA-Europe calls on the Polish president to follow the path of Ireland and Malta and to sign the Gender Accordance Act into law. The new Act will enable Polish trans citizens to enjoy their basic rights and freedoms.
