ILGA-Europe and ENAR (European Network Against Racism) joined forces in campaign against hate speech in the European election campaign 2014.

To mark the International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia, the Council of Europe is launching an action day within its campaign called No Hate Speech Movement. Today they will target LGBTI-phobic hate speech online. Read more here what you can do.

ILGA-Europe wholeheartedly welcomes today’s resolution by the European Parliament calling to criminalise homophobic and transphobic hate crime and speech across the European Union.

Currently the Moldovan Parliament is debating an anti-discrimination law which in its current form provides protection against discrimination on various grounds, including sexual orientation. The draft law was approved by the Moldovan government and is now in the hands of parliamentarians.
